This article has some good polling numbers about the state of the league and the public’s choice for Super Bowl winner. What is amusing about the poll is how it proves New England fans are not paranoid. It would be interesting to see a poll done after the Patriots win though. It is a paradox, everyone hates the Patriots, but everyone loves a winner.
That is why the majority of sports press went on a smear campaign regarding all the manufactured “gate” scandals surrounding the team. The media on their narrative mission, goes out of their way to avoid facts and smear 24/7. This tactic should look familiar for anyone who voted for President Trump. The media has spent every waking minute from November 9th, at 12: 01 A.M. trying to make his win seem illegitimate.
Here is a nice article from the other day about the relationship between Patriots owner Robert Kraft and President Trump. Here is a nice excerpt:
“When Myra died, Melania and Donald came up to the funeral in our synagogue, then they came for memorial week to visit with me,” Kraft told Myers. “Then he called me once a week for the whole year, the most depressing year of my life when I was down and out. He called me every week to see how I was doing, invited me to things, tried to lift my spirits. He was one of five or six people that were like that. I remember that.”
So when kickoff begins, remember the old adage about Boston’s three favorite pastimes: Sports, Politics and Revenge. This game has all three.
