Raiders’ move to Las Vegas looks like a certain bet – San Francisco Chronicle

On Feb. 11, 2016, Raiders owner Mark Davis and Oakland city officials got together at Oracle Arena and smiled in front of all the TV cameras. They agreed to a one-year lease extension at the Coliseum and pledged to work together to build a permanent facility for the football team.

They haven’t met since.

Vegas.  The door will be swung wide open soon on legalized sports gambling. Huge revenue, and a way to draw more interest and viewers. Live betting in-game, possibilities are endless. From a strictly X’s and O’s perspective, no way you can keep a team of young men focused on winning football in that city. Also, the Las Vegas Raiders? Atrocious.
